A new report from The Verge claims that the new Nintendo Switch console will feature a 3d touch interface that Apple’s iPhone 5 will not.
The Verge says that this is because, unlike the iPhone, the Switch console does not support Apple’s Touch ID feature.
The report also claims that Apple has been working on a new version of the 3D Touch interface that would support the new 3D interface for the Switch, but this feature will be “completely off the table” until Apple releases it.
The Switch will also use an external hard drive instead of the USB 3.0 ports that are common on Apple’s new iPhones.
This will make the Switch more compact and lightweight than Apple’s iPhones.
The Nintendo Switch will be released in October for $399.
